Homecoming

Homecoming is a Quest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance. Although my liege lord Sir Radzig Kobyla forbade me to leave Talmberg and the Lord of Talmberg, Sir Divish complied, with his wishes and tried to keep me in the castle, in the end I succeeded in leaving. I had to get back to Skalitz to bury my parents. I couldn't just leave their bodies to the dogs.

Homecoming Walkthrough

• When you arrive in Rovna, you will find a lot of dead corpses - loot them for some Groschen.
• On your way to Skalitz, you will encounter some bandits. Get rid of them for some better equipment.
• Enter Skaliz through the main gate (see gallery) and go to the place where you parents have died.
• You will need a spade that you can find near the main gate you entered where you will find Zbyshek fighting a dog.
  • Persuade or fight him to get that spade.
• When you about to bury your parents, some bandits will show up. You cant win this fight no matter how good you are and you will lose your sword.

Homecoming Objectives

• Massacre in Rovna.

  • Completed: Skalitz was in an even worse state than I expected. Sigismund's soldiers massacred everyone they came across, and not only in the town. In the nearby village of Rovna, people who were trying to take refuge in the church were butchered.

• Find your parents.

  • Start: I have to find my parents bodies and bury them. Unless someone moved them, they should still be lying where they fell.

  • Completed: I was still hoping against all the odds they might somehow have survived… But they were dead.

• Find a spade.

  • Start: I found my parents bodies and others too. Now I have to find a spade to dig a grave under the linden tree, as my father wished. It should be no problem to find a spade in the village.

• (HIDDEN) Fight with Zbyshek.

  • Completed: While I was looking for a spade I came across the mill hand Zbyshek, who was trying to rob the body of the butcher, which was being guarded by the dead man's dog, Mutt. Zbyshek was trying to drive him away with a spade and then he started a fight with me. Well, it didn't go well for him - he got a beating and I got the spade.

• (HIDDEN) Zbyshek flees.

  • Completed: While I was looking for a spade I came across the mill hand Zbyshek, who was trying to rob the dead body of the butcher, which was being guarded by the dead man's dog, Mutt. Zbyshek was trying to drive him away with a spade and then he started a fight with me. As soon as I drew my father's sword, though, he took to his heels and left the spade lying on the ground.

• Get hold of a spade.

  • Completed: I got everything I needed. But now the hardest part awaited me.

• Dig a grave under the linden tree and bury your parents.

  • Start: Now to dig a grave for my parents under the linden tree by the forge. God, this is going to be very hard to do.

  • Completed: When I was trying to bury my parents, Zbyshek turned up again, and he wasn't alone. That treacherous bastard brought a gang of bandits with him, led by a frightening giant of a man, who took a fancy to my father's sword. I tried to defend myself and hold onto it, but I had no chance against that huge bastard. Just when I thought my last moment had come, Theresa the mill maid turned up with Captain Robrad of Talmberg and his men. They scattered the bandits, but their leader got away with my sword, the only thing I had to remember my father by.
